Community Immunity is inspired by flow funding which is based on micro giving through relationships in an interconnected network. This model radically trusts and empowers local community cultivators with financial support. They are invited to use their intuition and discernment to deploy giving to those in extreme need within the communities they are in deep relationship with.
Why now?
As a global collective we are in uncharted territory. Systems that we have relied on are demonstrating their fragility, ineffectiveness, and lack of inclusion for those systematically oppressed, as they have for centuries. However, in this moment, we are also seeing the potency of community, the power of the human spirit, a unified field of love, empathy and mutual aid that is our hope for the future.
This is an opportunity for us to sow new seeds as we continue our efforts to nourish a network of human resilience and connection.

Grow where you are planted. Local sensing and deep relationships led by community cultivators allow for more human, personal and meaningful deployment of financial assistance.

By empowering community cultivators with radical trust we subvert traditional systems of centralized power and allow intuition, interrelatedness and regeneration to flourish.

This is not top down charity or a loan. This is a financial gift that facilitates mutual exchange of giving and receiving, reinforcing individuals innate wholeness.
4 — Emergent Learning
This is a fractal learning network, where each individual part is as powerful as the whole. We will expand organically and invite stories that help us learn as a collective and deepen our shared humanity.

Community Immunity hopes to balance our experiences with fear and scarcity with moments of grace and generosity through sharing resources into a wider circuitry from a trusted referral network.

We are looking to grow at the speed of trust, as the #CommunityImmunity initiative expands through referrals and one to one personal relationships. Community Cultivators are chosen based on their history and depth of work within their local community, as individuals or through a grassroots organization they have worked or volunteered with. At this time we are only accepting referred individuals who have preestablished and existing relationships with those most vulnerable and an understanding of where the funds could immediately be deployed.

No. This is treated as a gift for federal income tax purposes and is not taxable to you as it is under $14K. You should have no tax or legal liabilities in being a Community Cultivator - this is not a formal engagement on behalf of either party (us or you). Of course, if you have any special circumstances that cause you any doubts, you should consult with a tax professional. You will receive between $2-14K based on the context of your community activations.

No. This initiative is about trust. If we have provided you with a gift to give, we trust your intuition to share meaningfully. All we ask is that if you come across a key learning and / inspiring story you share it with us. You can do this through the form of a quote, photo, video or however you are inspired. At a later date, we may want to creatively collaborate on sharing these narratives to decrease the othering of people who are largely marginalized. This would only occur through you and with the individuals’ explicit written consent. You will be provided details on how to share learnings and feedback once accepted as a Community Cultivator.

We can wire you funds directly (to prevent fraud we will require confirmation through a phone call), use PayPal or send a check. We will ask for this information securely and provide options and details after you are engaged as a Community Cultivator.

If the individual has Paypal, Venmo, Zelle, or Cashapp information, you can get their information and then transact directly from your personal account(s). If the individual does not or cannot have a financial transaction app, you can take out cash, purchase gift cards, or purchase supplies for the individual or family in need. We have created flow charts in English and Spanish to help guide this process.

We will cover this on the introductory call and attune to your community needs, your existing relationships, and the most significant care required. Every Community Cultivator serves diverse demographics with unique socio economic, racial, and cultural realities. The range of exposure to vulnerabilities are factors which will inform your giving strategy.
